Description
Are you dreaming of a holiday in the countryside with your family and/or friends? This totally renovated farm offers you the possibility of enjoying fresh eggs every morning and horse riding on the horse of the farm. Of course you can also enjoy cycling, walking, visiting a cosy city or a day at the beach.
In a cosy environment with multiple farms and a centrally located playground this spacious farmhouse on a large piece of land is situated. The former small farm at the rear has been completely extended and offers a living room with sitting area and under floor heating. The luxurious open plan kitchen with antique wood stove and a conservatory with dining table offer you a panoramic view over the garden with pond and the polder landscape. The farm at the front has a living room with dining table and sofa bed (1.35 m x 1.90 m) and a room with an original cupboard bed (1.20 m x 1.80 m) where the whole family used to sleep in. You will find a separate toilet in the hall. Through a somewhat steep staircase (see picture) you reach the first floor with 5 bedrooms, all with high ceilings.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed with a desk.
Bedroom 2 has a double bed with a desk.
Bedroom 3 has a sofa bed with the possibility of creating a double bed.
Bedroom 4 has a single bed with under truckle bed.
Bedroom 5 has a semi high sleeper and a single bed on the loft.
In bedroom 4 & 5 you will also find a desk and a sleeping loft, reachable through a ladder and suitable for older children to sleep or to play.
The white bathroom on the first floor has a bath, shower, washbasin and toilet.
In the spacious garden there is always a nice sheltered, sunny spot to sit in while in the pasture the chickens, sheep and the lovely horse (which you can ride and provide in consultation) are walking around.
In the surroundings you will find many cycling and walking possibilities and by car you reach in 10 minutes, with the bicycle in 25 minutes, the beaches of the famous beach resorts Bergen and Schoorl. Alkmaar, a nice pleasant city known for its cheese market is 20 minutes by car, as well as Schagen.
Note: In high season the farm has a minimum stay of two weeks with arrival on Saturday. If you are booking a 4 weeks period, you will receive a 10% discount.
Tip
This farm is ideal for large families with children, partly because of the space, the animals present and the playground, where the kids can enjoy.
